Living at Hosanna Community
Hosanna Community is home to up to 20 men and women of all ages and abilities. Together with staff, we are a family that enjoys playing, working, and learning together.
We have two homes situated next to each other on seven acres in Hixson, Tennessee. Both houses are co-ed, with each resident occupying a private bedroom, and sharing a bathroom with another resident of the same sex. Houses are arranged with a large living room, kitchen, and dining room. We have an exercise room and game room as well. Administrative offices are also located on-site.
The sense of dignity and self-worth of every person is nurtured as each individual is recognized as a vital member of the Hosanna Community.
Hosanna Community provides a secure family environment where each member is encouraged to use his or her unique gifts and abilities to reach maximum independence. The responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the community is shared by all of its residents. Each person is expected to be an active contributor to daily tasks and collective decision-making.
